Introduction
Sky is an industry leader, providing fibre, broadband, TV packages & mobile deals. Sky wanted to increase their B2B offering to improve promotions of their products in online and in-store retailers. This was to be achieved by the creation of a B2B site where retailers could login and easily access Sky promotional details and marketing materials.
Aims
Production of a secure B2B browser-based marketing portal.
Tiered system providing additional support and materials depending on tier.
Ability for Sky to upload media files to system and for retailers to download.
Upcoming or expiring campaigns can be highlighted.
Retailers can request help and printed materials depending on tier association.
Approach
The aims of the project were clear from the start. Key difficulties, such as the tiered system, were ironed out in a discovery session with myself, project managers, technical team and Sky stakeholders. A site map and low fidelity wireframes were created in a workshop. I expanded upon these producing wireframes for sign off and then created designs adhering to strict brand guidelines provided by Sky.

Solution
The final Sky Partner Portal was created with clearly defined areas for campaign assets and brand asset libraries. Campaign assets were categorised to ensure easy access and promote use. A search function was included to aid users searching for specific product or campaign assets. Tiered structure was clearly defined to users from initial page land through to exit, with the benefits of upgrading highlighting in the profile area.
